Northern India Engineering Works was established in the year 1978 by Mr. Jay Kumar Burman a retired Army personnel . It was only the second Fabrication unit in Gujarat during that time in entire Gujarat.
He was later on joined by his son ,an Engineering Graduate from M.S.University of Baroda. He gave the Company a total new look by procuring ultra modern machineries and employing new skilled staff and training the old manpower so as to make the company a Professional one ,ready to take any sort of critical fabrication job.
The Professional approach and business acumen have brought significant laurels 
to the company.
